I have had several people ask if there's a way we can make comments on our reunion, so I'm trying this "forum" to see if we can have classmates offer reunion feedback if they wish.  I'm still figuring out how it works!

Please use it to let us know how you think it went:  what we should do differently next time, when we should have another one, and whatever you want to say to our classmates.

I want to thank the reunion committee for all their hard work.  Jane Stuart kept us all focused and made the arrangements with the University Club.  Betty Johnson Angell headed up an outstanding decoration committee with Vera Schubart Holshouser, Betty Gaither Halter, Mollie Powell Rasor, Joy Johnson Stuart, Peggy Mayer Davis, Sara Barbee, and Clara Powledge Worsley.

Stuart Holoman was a huge help with the postcards, and the music, as well as helping me with the webpage.

Diane Snakenburg Rodger made the arrangements for the vocal group.

Clara Powledge Worsley made our beautiful memorial book, and gave our invocation and memorial reading.

Everyone worked great together, and we loved bringing you the reunion!

Ann Bennett Rogers

I had a great time at the Reunion both Friday and Saturday nights.  It was so good to see familiar faces and reconnect with not so familiar faces.  The bond that is created by graduating in the same high school class is something unique from anything else. The venue was terrific, food was really good, decorations were great ... 😊, weather was perfect, and altogether a good time was had!!!

Thank you, Ann, and all who helped with the 55th Reunion! In his toast, Charles Styron spoke a poignant truth that we were all very fortunate to see each other again on this occasion. I seldom see members of the Class of 1961 and was happy to speak with many at the Reunion. Kudos for a great event! - Bill Stroupe
