Thomas Carl Flynn, Jr., 74, of Raleigh passed on October 3, 2016 peacefully at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh, NC with his son and daughter at his side. He was born on January 22, 1942 in Wake County, NC. Thomas is a long time resident of Raleigh where he lived, worked and raised his family.

Thomas began his thirty plus years career as a Certified Public Accountant with CP&L where he would later retire. He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement doing whatever he wanted to do. Thomas was a dedicated employee, loving father and grandfather. The dedication he showed at work was evidently translated to the love and dedication he showed his children and grandchildren. 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Carl Flynn, Sr. and Inez Kidd Flynn.

Thomas is survived by his children, Denise Michelle Flynn and Thomas Carl Flynn III and his grandchildren, Nadia Alane Flynn and Olivia Grae Flynn. 

Services celebrating Thomas' life will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 beginning with a visitation hour at 1:00 PM and followed by a service at 2:00 PM at Montlawn Funeral Home 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. Condolences to the family can be sent to www.montlawn.com
