Marsha Mustard Smith

Susan Kirk (Hamilton) was my roommate our freshman year at Women's College, and I attended St. Mary's College. I worked in Washington, D.C. as personal assistant to Senator Russell Long, La. Then in 1976, as executive director, I helped form a trade association of 23 oil and gas companies so that the chief executives could present effective testimony on pending oil and gas legislation before the House and Senate. This involved lobbying activities and fundraisers.
