Our mothers were very good friends so Beth and I played together as children. For many years our families went to Myrtle Beach together every summer. Beth and I were not close in later years but we kept in touch occasionally. She had an interesting life, was very independent, and ran her own successful business. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses and lived with quite a menagerie. I was very sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to her sister JoAnne and family.
