I always enjoyed knowing Martha at Broughton. She was funny and very nice. I thought of her often over the years. With such an unusual last name - especially the spelling! - any time I saw that name in the news near or far, I figured that person had to be kin to Martha! What a wonderful nurse she must have made. Perfect calling!

I, too, remember Martha.  We lived in the same neighborhood and occasionally would walk part of the way home together from Jr. High.  She was always kind and good-natured ..  Her sister married my brother's friend.   My sympathy to her family.  Carolyn Cherry Shirazi
