Emily Kate Bradshaw, age 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday evening, July 12, 2022. She was born to the late James and Kate Bradshaw on December 13, 1943 in Raleigh, NC.

Growing up in Raleigh, Emily attended Needham Broughton High School and later Peace College. Afterwards she worked for Durham Life and later retired from the State of NC as a benefits coordinator.

Emily was a devout Presbyterian and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC. She received the Honorary Lifetime Membership Award from the Presbyterian Women for her time, talents and devotion to the church. In her spare time in Raleigh, you could find her at the church helping in many capacities.

Emily was a dedicated daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was giving of her time, resources and love to her family, friends and to the church. She enjoyed family trips and exploring the U.S. with those she loved dearly. Emily had a sweet, caring and kind soul.

In her later years, she resided at The Fountains in Tarboro, NC and enjoyed spending time relaxing on the patio and dining with friends. She was a member of Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church and regularly attended.

Emily is survived by her brother, James Bradshaw and his wife, Dianne of Wilson, NC; one niece, Ashley Bradshaw of Chapel Hill, NC; multiple cousins; devoted friends in both Raleigh and Tarboro, NC.

Graveside Services, officiated by Rev. Claire Colcord, will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC. A link to the video of the service can be found below under DONATIONS.
