Nancy Buffaloe Abraham

I taught high school English and German in Richmond, VA and ESL in Charlotte, NC. Also for one year while my husband was finishing a degree, I taught at Wake Tech in Raleigh. After 34 years of teaching, I retired along with my husband, who was a nucear engineer for 30 years and before that a professor of physics and math. We have homes in the US and India, where most of my husband's family still live.

Do you remember Miss Strother, our Latin teacher? She always intimidated me so much, especially when she wanted me to teach the class. During my Sophomore year I became nauseated every time she asked me to teach and went home for an hour, only to return later in the day much relieved.
